As it says in the name of ACTS13, we want to be training Africans in Africa to serve in Africa and beyond. This shows the emphasis on the area of ministry and the contextualized approach.

Sometime ago an evangelist from a nearby city went to a small farming community in the highlands of Southern Ethiopia to share the Gospel. As a result of the visit he was able to plant a small church in Chencha.

Those individuals, churches and organisations which make it possible for the missionaries to serve and those partners they have in their mission context? Missions is never a one man’s adventure. Everyone has a place in it. And every place is equally important. Have you found yours yet?
We, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them. (Romans 12)

This quote made by Henry Martyn demands our response. We easily say that we love the Lord and that we believe in the importance of world missions but these two – love and belief alone – aren’t enough. It’s time to act.
When you are passionate about something, you share it with others. When they get as excited as you are, it makes you happy. In the same way God experiences joy when we share His heart. And what is God passionate about? Being connected with His children once again.
